Roughly 1 cubic yard, which holds about 10 to 12 standard black bin bags. It suits smaller clear-outs like a bedroom, a garage tidy or a bathroom strip. If you're clearing a full house or a renovation, a 4 or 6 yard skip will work out better value.
Your bag is sent within 48 hours of booking by recorded delivery. You don't need to be home for the delivery itself, but recorded delivery may need a signature, so it's worth leaving a note for your postman or having it sent to an address where someone's around.
General household and garden waste. No rubble, soil or heavy builders' waste, as these exceed what the bag and our lifting equipment can safely handle. There's a 75kg weight limit, and bags that are overloaded or filled above the fill line may not be collected. If you're unsure, WhatsApp us a photo on 07769 274198 and we'll tell you before you fill it.
Once your bag is full, leave it at the front of your property or somewhere our operatives can reach it easily, then call the office on 0161 464 6106 to book your collection. Collection isn't automatic, so the bag stays where it is until you tell us it's ready.
No. Skip bags sit on your own property, so there's no permit required and no waiting on the council. That's the main advantage over a traditional skip, along with the fact you can keep the bag as long as you need before booking collection.
Skip bags are ideal for smaller clear-outs, holding approximately 10-12 bin bags of waste.
We can accept general household and garden waste in our skip bags, so long as the bag is filled level and does not exceed 75kg. No rubble, soil or heavy builders' waste. Please see our list of restricted items prior to booking.
